Project Overview

This building is LEED Gold certified and has many green components which promoted a sense of heath and wellness.

Solar panels were installed on the roof to thermally heat the domestic water and the pool water; a perfect application for an area that is sunny 300 days a year. The solar system is currently handling over 80% of the hot water consumption of the building.

During the summer it produces more thermal heat than the building's demand, which gave the Owner almost $100,000 back in State and Federal tax credits and incentives.

In addition to savings on energy consumption the solar design will extend the life cycle of the water heaters.
